Meeting location: Micron Engineering Building (MEC), 1020 S. Manitou Ave, Boise State University

Friday Evening Group Dinner:

Leku Ona (http://www.lekuonaid.com/), reservations at 7pm. Located in the Basque Block in the heart of downtown Boise. Family style traditional Basque dinner in a private banquet room. Idaho is home to one of the largest populations of Basques outside of Spain. Meet in the Holiday Inn lobby between 6:30pm and 6:40pm if you need a ride (or can provide a ride) to the restaurant.

If you have changed your plans on attending the group dinner since you registered, please let me know so I can update the head count at the restaurant.

Saturday Shuttles:

Meet in the Holiday Inn lobby by 8:00am if you need a ride (or can provide a ride) to campus. We’ll have local volunteers providing rides. If you decide to walk instead, the MEC building is about a 20-minute walk from the Holiday Inn.

The Holiday Inn shuttle also goes to Boise State but is subject to availability.

We’ll also provide transportation after the meeting Saturday back to the hotel or directly from the campus to the airport.

If you get lost or stranded, call or text Sean Collision at 208-856-0008 or me at 208-484-3564.

Baggage storage: If you plan to go straight to the airport after the meeting without going back to the Holiday Inn, you can store your luggage in Dr. Hao Chen’s office (MEC 202E) or in the department office.

Student Cybersecurity Competition:

The competition consists of a cybersecurity puzzle that can be solved in under an hour by a very skilled programmer having a good day. There will be “geek gifts” awarded to those who solve the puzzle first.

Remote students can compete too! Student branch members and advisors — pass along the word to your student branches.

The competition will start at 3pm on Saturday. Visit https://events.vtools.ieee.org/m/47615 for more details and to register to compete.
