IEEE Fellow is a distinction reserved for select IEEE members whose extraordinary accomplishments in any of the IEEE fields of interest are deemed fitting of this prestigious grade elevation.  The IEEE Grade of Fellow is conferred by the Board of Directors upon a person with an extraordinary record of accomplishments in any of the IEEE fields of interest. The total number selected in any one year does not exceed one-tenth of one percent of the total voting Institute membership.

Do you have the following qualifications and do you want to join an elite group of individuals in Rochester?

  1. Have accomplishments that have contributed importantly to the advancement or application of engineering, science, and technology, bringing the realization of significant value to society.
  2. Currently hold IEEE Senior member or IEEE Life Senior member grade at the time the nomination is submitted
  3. Have been a member in good standing in any grade for a period of five years or more preceding 1 January of the year of elevation.
