It is our great pleasure to welcome you to the second IEEE PVE-SDN Workshop to be held in Montreal, Canada. The IEEE P1916.1 working group was formed in December 2015 to develop a standard with regard to performance requirements for virtualized environments. The purpose of this workshop is to provide a forum for researchers, students and users of SDN/NFV environments in academia and industry to discuss the latest innovations in this field, share the results of their works and assess future trends that would be within the scope of IEEE P1916.1 standard.
