IEEE Day Celebration-2017

Activity Information

IEEE Day Celebration-2017 is the first activity conducted as a part of Student Branch calendar technical event. The objective of the event is to bring together the people from different specializations of engineering for the interaction with their peer group and also with the professional members to promote IEEE aligned research, development and promotional activities.

  1. Quiz Competition:

5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Topic : Basic technical questions oriented towards IEEE aligned research areas and in general fundamental sciences
Type of Questions : Multiple choice questions with/without multiple answers and negative marking
Prize* : 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize winners will receive a certificate and prize money of Rs. 1500/-, Rs. 1000/- and Rs. 500/- respectively.

Topic : Presentation based on your research topic
Mode of presentation : A4 size paper (Max. 2)
Prize* : 5 Best papers from respective disciplines will be awarded with a certificate and a cash award of Rs. 500/- each

1 Best paper (among female participants) will get Rs. 500/- by WIE affinity group subject to condition of scoring highest marks but not qualified for best paper of any discipline

 

  1. b) Lecture Series & Valedictory Session

 

Date & time : 3rd October, 2017

5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Details : 1.       Lectures by Heads of five disciplines on the topic oriented towards research aligned towards IEEE activities and specializations.

2.       Prize distribution by Director to winners of various events

3.       High tea with snacks

 

*In case of tie, prize money will be split equally amongst the participants.
