Our IEEE SMC Society Student Branch Chapter at LIU-Brooklyn http://edu.ieee.org/us-liubc/ is the first Student Chapter of IEEE SMC Society established in North America. Our Chapter’s members: 30, we recruit 15~20 new members every year.
Prof. Chung the Founding Faculty Counselor of the Joint Student Branch Chapter of IEEE Computer Society and IEEE Systems, Man, & Cybernetics Society at LIU-Brooklyn since June 2012.
Our student branch chapter received the Outstanding Student Branch Chapter Award of the IEEE SMC Chapter in October, 2016. Also, our Chapter was the Winner for participating T-Shirt Competition of IEEE R1 Student Conference, March 28 ~29, 2014 at New Jersey Institute of Technology.
