The IEEE EMBS Student Chapter of M. S. Ramaiah Institute of Technology has been initiated to bridge the gap between Engineering and Medical domains. It aims to provide the bio-medical engineering students the right tools and the platform to nurture their ideas that can contribute to the healthcare sector. This initiative provides the engineering students from various backgrounds like computer science, mechanical, electrical and electronics a chance to innovate affordable medical devices collaboration with clinicians. Several teachers who are a part of this association also guide students in the process. Along with amassing technical skills, students are exposed to a variety of community service programs, workshops, lectures, contests and other fun learning activities.
