3D Printing is an Additive Manufacturing technique that creates a physical object from a virtual 3D CAD model by depositing successive layers of material. They work like the traditional inkjet printers, but instead of ink, a 3D printer deposits desired material to manufacture an object from its digital format. 3D printing and rapid prototyping, in general, are widely claimed to have revolutionized not only the manufacturing industry but also many other walks of life like medicine, aerospace and automotive industry. This program on 3D Printing helps the participants understand the design, functioning and operation of a basic 3D Printer. This event is surely going to create the technical awareness among the participants. The innovations and ideas discussed will have a positive impact on the engineering community.

Mr. Jaishik Kotian and Mr. Ramnath Bhat from Skyfi Education Labs Pvt. Ltd. will deliver training on 3D printing. Keynote speakers from reputed institutions like IITs, NITs and various Industries will deliver the keynote address.


Any one from industry, academics who is interested in learning the cutting edge technology related to 3D printing is eligible to attend the symposium.


The registration fee includes the participation to the symposium, kit, lunch and refreshments during the symposium. However, the accommodation(optional)would be provided on first come first serve basis with twin sharing at a nominal charge of Rs. 100 for the symposium.

*All candidates will get a certificate of participation. The selected candidates will also get a  certificate of  participation with excellence on the basis of their performance in the offline   examination after the symposium.
*It is compulsory for participants to carry their own laptops

Phase 1

Phase 2

After receiving the registration number, the candidate is required to deposit the registration fee as mentioned above through DD / RTGS / NEFT as per the bank account details given below;

a) Demand Draft, in favour of Quantum School of Technology, payable at Dehradun. Kindly send
the same to: Quantum School of Technology, City Office, 14 Gandhi Road, (4th Floor), Near Kwality
Hardware, Dehradun-248001 (Uttarakhand)
b) For RTGS/NEFT Bank of Baroda, astley Hall, Dehradun, Account No. “00880200000464”, RTGS /
NEFT IFSC CODE : BARB0DEHRAD, (5th character is zero) in favour of Quantum School of Technology.


In case of online payment through RTGS / NEFT, the candidate is required to send the e-receipt through mail at

*Candidates are advised to quote their registration number, name, IEEE ID (only for IEEE member), organisation name in all the correspondences.
*Respective IEEE section (to which the member belongs) will reimburse the registration fee of two student members from a student branch through their branch counselors after the symposium.
