Technovision 12.0

Technovision 12.0, organized by IEEE-RCOEM student branch and Technical club of RCOEM,  was inaugurated on 29th August 2019 by Mr. Nirmal Kumar Bhandari, ADRM, (Operations), Central Railway, Nagpur Division, as the chief guest of the event. Mr. Bhandari urged the students to view the engineering domain as a means to make the society more comfortable and liveable.The main aim of this fest is to enable students to keep abreast of the constant technological developments happening around them that often do not feature in the regular engineering books. Technovision provides opportunities to explore the new and happening in the technological world and in the process helps students realize their technical acumen.

 

 

Technovision 11.0

Technovision has been a commendable 15 years journey and this year also the college successfully organized its 11th edition. On 24th August, the inaugural ceremony took place in presence of the Chief Guest, Dr. Pramod M. Padole, Director of VNIT College. Honourable Shri Govindlalji Agarwal, General Secretary, Dr. Rajesh Pande, Principal; Dr.(Mrs.)R. R. Khandelwal, Convener and Prof. P. V. Shiwalkar, Co-convener were present at the event. After lighting the lamp and delivering a motivational speech for all the students, the Chief guest also launched the technical Magazine ‘Souvenir’, for the 11th edition of Technovision. The ceremony was followed by various events under this TechFest like robo-olympia, paperfest, breadboard maze and so on.

 

 

 

 

 

 

TECHNOVISION 9.0

A Technical Event organized by IEEE-RCOEM Student branch

The IEEE RCOEM Student Branch organized a 2-day technical festival, Technovision 9.0, on 11th and 12th February 2015 at Shri Ramdeobaba College of Engineering and Management (RCOEM), Nagpur. Over the years, Technovision has succeeded in keeping students abreast with the constant technological developments that often fail to feature in the regular textbooks. The ninth version of this technical fair offered something for everyone, in the form of 5 workshops and 7 events.

IEEE Branch Counselors’ Meeting

IEEE Branch Counselors’ Meeting for the Nagpur Region was conducted on 24th April 2014 at Shri Ramdeobaba College of Engineering and Management, Nagpur. Dr. Narendra Bawane, Principal, S.B. Jain Institute of Technology, Management and Research, and Executive Committee member of IEEE Bombay Section chaired the meeting. The IEEE Branch Counselors and representatives of various colleges were present at the meeting, the agenda of which was to strengthen local IEEE network and discuss the matter related to Student Branch formation and smooth functioning of the same. The Counselors deliberated over ways to accelerate IEEE activities in and around Nagpur.

 

 

 

 

Orientation Programme

The IEEE RCOEM Student Branch organized an Orientation Programme on 30th January 2014 to acquaint the students with IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) and the benefits of becoming a member of this esteemed organization. Prof. Vinit Kotak, Student Activities Chair of IEEE Bombay Section along with the Principal of RCOEM, Dr. V.S Deshpande, and Prof. Richa Khandelwal, IEEE Branch Counselor inaugurated the session by lighting the traditional lamp.

 

 

 

 

 

 

MATLAB and Applications

IEEE-RCOEM Student Branch of Shri Ramdeobaba College of Engineering and Management organized a two-day workshop on ‘MATLAB and Applications’ recently. The workshop was inaugurated at the hands of Dr. V.S. Deshpande, Principal, RCOEM. The alumni of RCOEM Archit Somani, Director, and CEO of Strawberry Enterprises Pvt. Ltd. organized this workshop. R. R. Khandelwal, IEEE Branch Counselor, and workshop Co-ordinator made the introductory remarks.

 

 

 

 

 

 

ICESC-2014

The International Conference on Electronic Systems, Signal Processing and Computing Technologies (ICESC-2014) organized in association with University of Massachusetts Lowell, USA, University of the District of Columbia, Washington, DC, USA and American Society for Engineering Education.

The IEEE RCOEM Student Branch students participated in ICESC conference as volunteers.
