March 3, 2011: “Trans-Ionospheric Radio Propagation” by Larry Zuckerman, K3LZ

Abstract: The presentation was about Larry Zuckerman’s radio work and research with the Air Force from 1967-76. He made measurements, called trans-ionospheric radio propagation, to study the structure of the ionosphere. Later he designed and manufactured a special type of high-performance radio receiver that is used for the specialized ionospheric measurements.

This meeting was co-sponsored by the 50MHz and Up Group of Northern California.
