Abstract:

In this talk, we would initiate a conversation about the new era of Quantified Heart movement. The movement of Quantified Heart not only collects heart muscle performance data from individuals’ hearts but also conducts deep analysis for measuring the elasticity, strength and workload of the hearts. With those measurements, people are better informed in order to reduce the risk of heart disease, identify possible heart problems earlier, and promote a heart-healthy lifestyle.   A few novel concepts for measuring heart health will be introduced.  They are motility, contractility and etc.

 

Speaker:  Callie Yan Xue ,  CEO and Co-founder, Welbean

Bio:

Ms. Callie Xue is the CEO and co-founder of Welbean, a health data analysis company that provides intelligent health guidance and promotes the lifestyle with healthy hearts.  Welbean’s patent-pending flagship product Heartscope is world’s first heart performance monitor which can help people understand and measure the elasticity, strength, and workload of their hearts for the purpose of maintaining good health.  Prior to founding Welbean, she worked as a CPA at PricewaterhouseCoopers. In her earlier days, she was an internal medicine doctor in China. She helped over 3,000 patients, over 50% of whom were chronic cardiovascular disease patients.
