IEEE Milestones in the SCV Section
A set of bronze IEEE plaques are on the brick wall in the front courtyard of the Computer History Museum at 1401 N. Shoreline Blvd, Mountain View. Called the “Wall of Fame,” these are primarily duplicates of Milestone plaques which are mounted in various locations in Silicon Valley. See SiliconValleyMilestones.com for videos and photos of these 16 plaques, with more plaques on the way.
If you want to propose an IEEE Milestone, see the program information to the right. You can also contact Brian Berg at b.berg@ieee.org , SCV Milestone Chair, and a member of the IEEE History Committee.
