Position Description

The Division of Engineering and Mathematics in the School of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) at the University of Washington Bothell (UWB) invites applications for non-tenure track Lecturer Part-Time faculty in Electrical Engineering. We are seeking a candidates to join our faculty on a part-time basis (50% – 100%) for a 9-month service period and with opportunities to teach during the summer.  Appointments may be for multiple years (1-5 years).  The start date is September 16, 2019.

Division faculty contribute to teaching and service.  Faculty share an essential commitment to excellence in teaching and enhancing learning opportunities for a diverse student population. Instructional responsibilities for this position are focused, but not limited, to teaching laboratory classes in circuits (B EE 215 and B EE 233) and electronics (B EE 331 and B EE 332). A successful candidate will join a team that is enthusiastically committed to student access and excellence. Qualifications

  1. D., or M.S. in Electrical Engineering or related fields, or foreign equivalent, by the date of hire.
  2. Two years experience teaching or mentoring in Electrical Engineering.
  3. Demonstrated ability of using basic laboratory measurement instruments.
