Using Asymmetric Keys for Securing Vehicle Networks

Vehicular ad hoc networks (VANETs) are created by applying the principles of mobile ad hoc networks (MANETs) – the spontaneous creation of a wireless network for Vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) data exchange – to the domain of vehicles

Needles to add such VANETs require high level of security and privacy. Achieving this thru the use of Asymmetric Multicast Encryption keys is the subject of Ahmad’s research. He will introduce us to all the concepts, issues and ideas, so we can fully grasp both the problems and potential opportunities in this field. With growing application of the Connected Car – this is even more important.
