Call for Paper for IEEE Student Paper Contest 2016 : ieee_spc_2016_cfp

Dear Students,

IEEE Seoul Section calls for papers for the Student Paper Contest 2016, an annual convention to promote its Student Members’ technical paper publications.

Outstanding papers selected from the Contest will be granted a privilege to participate in IEEE Region-10 Student Paper Contest 2016. Active participation is solicited from all the Student Members from IEEE Seoul Section.

Submission guidelines and a detailed schedule of important dates are attached.

2016 IEEE Student Paper Contest Call for Papers

IEEE Seoul Section calls for papers for Student Paper Contest 2016, an annual convention to promote its Student Members’ technical paper publications. Outstanding papers selected from the contest will be granted a privilege to participate in IEEE Region-10 Student Paper Contest 2017. Active participation is solicited from all Student Members from IEEE Seoul Section. Submission guidelines and a detailed schedule of important dates are as follows:

– Paper Submission Due: Midnight, November 18 (Friday), 2016
– Paper Submission:
Submit your Paper written in English (3-6 pages recommended) electronically in PDF-format online at
the bottom form.

– Scope of Eligible Papers:
1. Original English papers unpublished or not submitted for publication on any other journals or proceedings
2. English papers presented in domestic conferences* in 2016
3. Translated papers presented in domestic conferences* in 2016
*The name of the domestic conference should be stated in the paper.

– Notification of Acceptance: Via e-mail by November 25 (Friday), 2016

– Final Presentation : Oral presentation for 15 minutes,
1:30-5:30pm, December 3 (Saturday), 2016
1st Floor Lecture Hall, Korea Aerospace University

– Prizes: 1 Grand Prize, 2 Best Paper Awards, 3 Outstanding Paper Awards,
and Excellent Paper Awards for all the participants in the final presentation.
Awardees will be announced right after the final presentation.

– Maximum Number of Papers that Can be Submitted to the Contest
Limited to two papers per advising professor
