Our Chapter has been striving every year to be recognized with IEEE PES High Performing Chapter Award worldwide. Our successes have never been possible without the support from various industrial/academia partners and contributions made by our volunteering committee members who took the time-off from their busy schedules to provide the best for PES members in Singapore.

As Singapore has transition towards living with COVID-19, we are happy to announce that all organized activities are switched back to on-site venues.
To support the fight against COVID-19, IEEE PES Singapore reminds everyone to practice good hygiene and be socially responsible.
Who Are We
The IEEE PES Singapore Chapter is constituted from IEEE Power & Energy Society to extend liaison communication with PES members in Singapore. Our local community has an approximate of 500 active volunteers comprising industrial leaders, licensed practitioners, academia expertise, and students with shared professional interests for electric power and energy advancements. This Chapter holds numerous technical and plenary sessions throughout the year, inviting distinguish speakers from different field of expertise and practices across continents. It also includes social activities such as day tours/visitations to relevant sites and charity events to give back to less fortunate communities.

The Power & Energy Society (PES) has over 40,000 membership consists of engineers, executives, policy makers, academics and students who involved in researching and shaping the electric power industry; developing standards that guide planning and operating electricity grids, constructing/manufacturing of equipment and systems, and for educating members of the industry and the general public. Members of the PES are leaders in this field, and they — and their employers — derive substantial benefits from involvement with this unique and outstanding association. PES Corporate Engagement Program: PES has started the PES Corporate Engagement Program which allows electric utilities globally to engage directly with PES upper management, who can help develop customized education and training programs for the utility employees.
