Employment Opportunities on IEEE Collabratec
Opportunities on IEEE Collabratec can assist users in finding employment. Follow the steps below to search through job listings and activate your employment preferences to be discoverable by organizations seeking talent:
Search job listings: Log into IEEE Collabratec. Click Menu and select Opportunities. Jobs from the IEEE Job site are listed under the Find Opportunities tab. You can filter the job listings based on company, the date the job was posted, the job location, your desired commute radius, and the job category. Click on a job title to learn more. You can apply for the job, save it for later, or share it.
Get discovered by organizations seeking talent: Log into IEEE Collabratec. Click Menu and select Opportunities. Then, click the Settings tab. Check the box under Employment Preferences to make your profile and CV/resume visible to organizations seeking talent. Then, complete your employment preferences and upload your CV or resume.
IEEE Mentoring
IEEE Mentoring features facilitate the matching of IEEE members for the purpose of establishing a mentoring partnership. View the steps below on how you can find or become a mentor.
Find a mentor: Log into IEEE Collabratec. Click Menu and select People. Under the Relationship filter, check the box next to IEEE Mentors. You can then filter your results based on the person’s mentoring area, location, company, school, interest, and member grade. Click on the mentor’s profile to learn more. When you’ve found a person you would like as your mentor, send them a mentor request. Click on the +Connect button and select Request Mentor.
Become a mentor: Log into IEEE Collabratec. Click Menu and select Opportunities. Then, click the Settings tab. Check the box under My Mentor Preferences to activate the visibility of your mentor preferences to other IEEE members. Then, you can select your preferences. You will receive a notification when a member sends you a mentor request.
