During its November meeting series, the IEEE Technical Activities Board (TAB) inducted Jose’ (Joe) Cruz, Michael Masten, William Moses, and Emily Sopensky into the TAB Hall of Honor, which was established to honor those persons, living or deceased, who have made major contribution(s) to IEEE Technical Activities. - During 2017, three new standards Sponsors from Technical Activities Societies were recognized by the IEEE Standards Association (IEEE-SA). They are: Unmanned Aerial Systems and Unmanned Aerial Vehicles Standards Committee; Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) Society Standards Committee; and Society on Social Implications of Technology (SSIT) Standards Committee.
