He is currently an associate professor at Faculty of Information Technology, King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang, Thailand. Previously, He was a research fellow working in the School of Electronics and Computer Science at the University of Southampton. During his academic career in the University of Southampton, he was also a visiting research fellow at University College London, Xerox Research Centre Europe, Helsinki University of Technology, and the University of Leoben. Prior to this, he was a research associate and also a Ph.D. student in the Computational Data Modelling Group in the Department of Automatic Control & Systems Engineering at the University of Sheffield.

His research interests lie in the design of machine learning in real-world applications e.g. chemoinformatics, eye-tracking, bioinformatics, etc. He is a senior member of IEEE (Computational Intelligence Society), a committee of Artificial Intelligence Association of Thailand (AIAT), a member of ‘Pattern Analysis, Statistical Modelling, and Computational Learning’ (PASCAL) Network of Excellence, and Asia Pacific Neural Network Society (APNNS).
