He is an associate professor at the School of Information Technology, King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang, Thailand. Previously, he was a research fellow working in the School of Electronics and Computer Science at the University of Southampton. During his academic career at the University of Southampton, he was also a visiting research fellow at University College London, Xerox Research Centre Europe, Helsinki University of Technology, and the University of Leoben. Before this, he was a research associate and a Ph.D. student in the Computational Data Modelling Group in the Department of Automatic Control & Systems Engineering at the University of Sheffield.

His research interests lie in the design of machine learning in real-world applications, e.g., chemoinformatics, eye-tracking, bioinformatics, etc. He is a senior member of the IEEE (Computational Intelligence Society) and the Asia Pacific Neural Network Society (APNNS).
