Ashok Srivastava is Wilbur D. and Camille V. Fugler, Jr., Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Louisiana State University (LSU), U.S.A. He received his M.Tech. and Ph.D. in Solid-State Physics and Semiconductor Electronics from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi in 1970, 1975, respectively. Before joining LSU, he worked at several academic institutions and R&D laboratories, where his main areas of research were VLSI design and technology and emerging logic devices. While at LSU he has held visiting appointments at several institutions across the globe. His current research interests include low-power VLSI circuit design and testability; nanoelectronics – nanoscale devices, circuits and integration; non-classical device electronics with focus on carbon nanotube, graphene and other 2D material-based device electronics for emerging post-CMOS integrated circuit design. He is author of a book, Carbon-Based Electronics: Transistors and Interconnects at Nanoscale and co-editor of two books, Nano-CMOS and Post-CMOS Electronics – Devices and Modeling, Circuits and Design from IET Press. Prof. Srivastava has authored and co-authored more than 170 research papers in journals and conferences covering devices, circuits and systems, micro/nano-systems, holds 1 US patent and supervised 41 graduate students. He is a Life Senior Member of IEEE, Electron Devices, Circuits and Systems, and Solid-State Circuits Societies, and Senior Member of SPIE and Member of ASEE. He is a recipient of prestigious 1979-1980 UNESCO Fellowship Award.
