Sunday, July 1, welcome aperitif

The welcome aperitif will include finger food, slices of pizza, water and 2 drinks! Because of the nice landscape, please arrive before the sunset. There will be a roll-up banner of the school: we’re there!
Tuesday, July 3, Visit to Nora archeological park and country dinner
After two days in Pula, you cannot overlook a visit to the ancient city of Nora (https://www.nora.sardegna.it/), which is close to the School venue! After the last Matlab laboratory of the day, collect your stuffs quickly and go to the bus, that will take you to Nora. Do not forget to leave space on your smartphone memory for some pictures, or bring your camera with you to take some shots. After a guided tour, a short walk will take you at a nice restaurant on the sea, Fradis Minoris, (http://www.lagunadinora.it/sezione.php?idsez=32) for a fish-based dinner on the terrace. Vegetarians and people with dietary restrictions will receive a delicious alternative dinner. We’ll be back to Cagliari by midnight the latest.
Thursday, July 5, Sunset at the beach and dinner on the sea
After four days of school, you’ll probably miss the sea. We cannot have the lectures on the beach but we can have dinner there… after the last School lab, harry up on the bus: we will take you to one of the most famous beach resorts of Cagliari (http://www.lidocagliari.com/)! A terrace on the sea for aperitif and dinner at the sunset. What do you want more? Sea menu, vegetarians will receive a delicious alternative dinner. We’ll be back to the hotel by midnight the latest. After 23:30, the cocktail bar opens (not included).
Saturday, July 7, visit to Villasimius Marine Park (meals and activity not included, transfer included)
Villasimius is one of the best vacation spots in Sardinian south-eastern region: crystalline water, white beaches, glamorous lifestyles and fine food to meet your every wish. The summer School will provide you a complimentary transfer to-from Villasimius for a day at the beach and a short visit to the village. Meals and other services are not included. Those who wish can book a sailing trip (e.g.: www.matildacharter.com): we will bring you there and take you back. The others can enjoy one of the most beautiful beaches of Villasimius: Timi Ama (http://www.delfinoclub.com/sardiniavillasimius/), if the wind is good for that, otherwise another beach like Campulongu. Bring with you something for snorkeling if you like. If you like walking, you can visit other 3 beaches from Timi Ama, and the coastal tower of Porto Giunco, guarding the entire area, reminding us of times gone by, when the coastline was guarded by the Spanish, to stop invaders and marauders of the sea. Beach umbrellas are not included but can be rented there. After lunch, you can visit some attractions like the small coastal tower (la Fortezza), the touristic harbor, the village and taste a delicious ice cream before taking the bus to come back to Cagliari by 18:30.
