Three 5G antennae on Optus’ base station at Huntingdale in Victoria.
The three 5G antennae are mounted on the pole in between the two tall panels on the left hand side. The top antenna operates at 27 GHz and the others at 3.5 and 2.3 GHz.

mm-wave angle of arrival measurement system
Prof. Mike Faulkner from Victoria University demonstrates an angle of arrival measurement system. This system scans both elevation and azimuth and it was used to make mm-wave measurements which were submitted to ITU-R Study Group 3 to update high frequency propagation models.

The Special Broadcasting Service (SBS) is an Australian public broadcasting radio, online and television network which operates four TV channels and eight radio networks. As to what the three antennas are, at this stage it’s a guess but from left to right, these look like a Gregorian sub-reflector parabolic, a grid-pak and a short collinear array surrounded by a cylindrical radome?
Civil emergency service antennas near Nyon in Switzerland
The structure in the centre of the photograph is a bi-conical monopole broadband HF antenna. This has good ground-wave and sky-wave radiation characteristics. If you look carefully you can see the wires running up from the feed point at the base of the support mast to the circular waist disk and then up to the top of the antenna. Its located at a civil emergency services site near Nyon in Switzerland. There was also one of these at Cape Shank in Victoria.
