Denise Griffin
Denise Griffin is an Analyst for Tripadvisor, the world’s largest travel website. Prior to that she worked in System Engineering and Program Management for GTE Government Systems, News Internet Services, and Cisco Systems. Denise was the IEEE Boston WIE Chair for 3 years and is in her second year as the IEEE New England WIE Coordinator. During her time as Chair of IEEE WIE Boston, the section was runner up for “International Section of The Year” two years in a row. In 2013 she received the IEEE-USA Regional Professional Leadership Award and the Region 1 Enhancing IEEE & Industry Relationship Award.
Outside of IEEE, Denise is active with Engineers Week New England and is on the national committee for the Society of Women Engineers and a past SWE-Boston president. Denise received her BS in Electrical Engineering from Tufts University and lives in Burlington, MA with her husband and two children.
