Abstract:
The AGM is an important event and your participation is crucial in its successful implementation. We will be reviewing our activities during the 2011 and will introduce nominees for the 2012 Executive Committee positions. We will also ask for additional nominations for these positions at the AGM. You will be voting for the Executive Committee members in the AGM.
I would therefore like to invite you to the AGM and ask for your participation. Your active contributions to the IEEE are essential in making sure that the organization moves in the right direction and continues to serve its members.
The tentative schedule for the event is:
- 6:00-6:30 – Welcome by Dr. Shaahin Filizadeh
- 6:30-7:30 – Dinner & Networking (buffet dinner)
- Buns and butter
- Tossed Salad and Dressing
- Coleslaw
- Chicken breast with herb stuffing
- Rosemary roast potato
- Seasoned corn or Green beans almondine
- Genoise cake with vanilla buttercream
- Coffee/Tea/Water
- 7:30-8:30 – Speeches and reports on Chapters & Affinity Groups
