Prasanth Mohan is a Computer Science & Engineering Graduate from Anna University, Chennai. He currently works with REDD Robotics as Associate Engineer where he handles the 3Ding (www.3Ding.in) division which is involved in manufacturing of affordable FDM 3D Printers and offering 3D Printing Services across India. His areas of Interest include Robotics, Embedded system & 3D Printing. Previous to his work with REDD Robotics he served as Instructor for Pre-University Students training them on Robotics and Embedded System. Over the last 5 years, he served on various volunteering levels within IEEE CS which includes Student Chapter Chair, Adviser & Mentor. He is a part of MGAB for the last 3 years. He served as IEEE CS Global Student Representative for the year 2014. He currently serves as Vice Chair for Student and Young Professionals Activities focusing on IEEE Region’s 8 to 10. Prasanth also volunteers for IEEE Women in Engineering & IEEE Education Activities Board (Education Portals). He is a recipient of Richard E Merwin Scholarship (2013) & Larry K Wilson Student Volunteer Award – Special Mention (2014).
